The Hounslow Together Partnership is seeking the views of residents and representatives of forums and groups about their aspirations and concerns for the future of Hounslow.  If you'd like to get involved and give your feedback, you need to register before the workshops start, as spaces are limited.  The next workshop will take place on Tuesday 21st November at 6.30pm at Isleworth Public Hall (for registration details see Appendix 5).

i)                 Those wishing to address the Area Forum on any of the items for decision listed on the agenda (with the exception of planning applications) should contact the Committee Administrator, Kay Duffy, on 020 8583 2067 with details of the proposed submission as soon as practicable and no later than two working days before the meeting. The Chair will decide whether or not to grant the request to speak and notification will be given of the decision.

ii)               For all highways matters, if there are members of the public with opposing views regarding the proposal the chair will allow both sides to speak. Generally, speakers will only be allowed to speak on issues where funding is available.

iii)              Each party will be given no more than 5 minutes to speak.  The time allotted could be reduced if, for example, the chair wishes to accommodate several speakers on the same item.

iv)             The Area Committee will consider submissions on up to 3 items per meeting.

v)               Written submissions should be made to the Committee Administrator no later than 4pm on the day of the meeting. 


Additional notes about the Open Forum:

Residents are asked to submit any questions/ issues to the Open Forum in writing at least one full working day before the meeting – a pro-forma is included in the agenda pack to assist this.  The earlier we receive your submission, the greater the chance of a response being available in time for the meeting.  Please note that you can also use the pro-forma to suggest any topics you would like to see discussed at future Area Forum meetings.


Recording and reporting on public meetings

Please note that members of public can choose to record or report in other ways on this public meeting.  If you wish to do so then please read the Council’s protocol, which can be found on the Council’s website.  Copies of the protocol are also available at the meeting.  The Council asks that you avoid recording members of the audience who are not participants at the meeting.  The Council will seek to facilitate this. However, anyone attending a public meeting does so in the knowledge that recording may take place and that they may be part of that record.
