Notification of decision following a Licensing Panel hearing to determine an application for a premises licence

 

PREMISES: Chacha'z Limited, 4 Hamilton Parade, Groveley Road, Feltham, TW13 4PJ.

TAKE NOTICE:

 

THAT following a hearing before the Licensing and General Purposes Sub

Committee (the Licensing Panel)

 

ON 18 May 2017

 

HOUNSLOW COUNCIL, as the Licensing Authority for the premises

 

RESOLVED TO TAKE THE FOLLOWING STEPS IN RELATION TO THE PREMISES LICENCE AS APPROPRIATE TO PROMOTE THE LICENSING OBJECTIVES:

 

That the application for the grant of a premises licence, as amended, be GRANTED IN FULL and on the terms and conditions contained within the application to include any applicable mandatory conditions.

 

Licensable activities:

 

Supply of Alcohol on and off the premises

 

Sunday to Thursday: 11:30hrs-23:00hrs

 

Friday to Saturday: 11:30hrs-00:00hrs

 

Seasonal variation:

Christmas Eve: 11:30 to 02:00

New Year’s Eve: 11:30 to 02:00

 

Live music, recorded music, performance of dance and anything of a similar description:

 

Sunday to Thursday: 11:30hrs-23:00hrs

 

Friday to Saturday: 11:30hrs-00:00hrs

New Year’s Eve: 11:30 to 02:00

 

Provision of Late Night Refreshment

And with the following conditions attached to the licence:

 

The prevention of crime and disorder:

 

1.    A CCTV System will be installed and maintained in good working order and recordings shall be retained for a period of 31 days. They will be made available upon reasonable request by the police and council officials.

 

2.    The premises will operate a zero tolerance policy to drugs and posters shall be displayed to that effect.

 

Public safety:

 

3.    Empty bottles will be collected and placed into locked bins.

 

4.    Adequate lighting will be provided for patrons leaving the premises.

 

The prevention of public nuisance:

 

5.    Doors and windows to be kept closed while regulated entertainment is taking place except to allow access and egress.

 

6.    A reliable taxi company’s details will be displayed where they are clearly visible to customers.

 

7.    Notices will be displayed requesting that patrons respect neighbours and leave the premises quietly and in an orderly manner and do not congregate outside the premises.

 

The protection of children from harm:

 

8.    The premises will operate a Challenge 21 scheme, whereby no person appearing to be under the age of 21 will be served alcohol without proof of age. The forms of acceptable identification will be either a photographic driving licence, a valid passport, military identification, or any other recognised form of photographic identification incorporating the PASS logo or any other form of identification from time to time approved by the Secretary of State.

 

9.    All staff will be trained with regards to their responsibilities in the retail sale of alcohol and regular refresher training will also be undertaken.
