Notification of decision following a Licensing Panel hearing to determine an application for a premises licence

 

PREMISES: Hydrabad Tastes & Restaurant, 15 High Street, Hounslow

 

 

TO:    Mr Bhargav Rakesh Pakalapati

 

 

TAKE NOTICE:

 

THAT following a hearing before the Licensing and General Purposes Sub

Committee (the Licensing Panel)

 

ON 18 July 2017

 

HOUNSLOW COUNCIL, as the Licensing Authority for the premises

 

RESOLVED TO TAKE THE FOLLOWING STEPS IN RELATION TO THE PREMISES LICENCE ASAPPROPRIATE TO PROMOTE THE LICENSING OBJECTIVES:

 

That the application for the grant of a premises licence, as amended, be GRANTED IN FULL and on the terms and conditions contained within the application to include any applicable mandatory conditions.

 

Licensable activities:

 

Supply of alcohol on the premises

Monday to Sunday 10.00 to 23:00

 

Recorded music (indoors)

Monday to Sunday 10.00 to 23.00

 

Hours premises are open to the public

Monday to Sunday 10.00 to 23.00

 

 

 

 

 

And with the following conditions attached to the licence:

 

 

1.    A CCTV System shall be installed and maintained in good working order and at all times the premises is open to the public.  All images will be stored for a minimum of 31 days.

 

2.    The CCTV system will have a playback facility and all staff members will be able to show and provide the police and council officials the recent data footage.

 

3.    Signage will be prominently displayed advising customers that they are being filmed on CCTV.

 

4.    All staff will receive training in the retail sale of alcohol.

 

5.    Records of staff training will be maintained and kept on the premises at all times.  The records which must be signed and dated by both trainer and trainee will be made available for inspection by an authorised officer of the local authority or police.

 

6.    An incident and a refusal book will be kept on the premises and available to write any incidents or refusals by all members of staff and made available for inspection by an authorised officer of the local authority or police.

 

7.    Notices must be displayed requesting that customers respect neighbours and leave the premises quietly and in an orderly manner and do not congregate outside the premises.

 

8.   A Challenge 25 scheme will be implemented whereby any person who looks to be under the age of 25 will be asked for a recognised photographic proof of age e.g. passport, driving licence and proof of age card with a PASS hologram.

 

8.    Signs will be clearly displayed on the premises in relation to the Challenge 25 Scheme. 

 

9.    ‘No proof of age- No sale’ notices must be on display.

 

10.Alcohol will only be sold with a full table meal.

The Licensing Panel carefully considered all the relevant information including:

 

·         written and oral representations by all the parties

·         the Licensing Act 2003 and the steps appropriate to promote licensing objectives
